Default LPMM on a 3.2 muffler?

I know this is a 993 site, but if I listed "LPMM" on any other site, I'd get funny looks.
Anyway, wondering if anyone ever tried the ingenious LPMM mod on anything other than a 993 muffler?
How would this mod work out/sound on a single one in/one out stock '86 911 3.2 muffler? thoughts?

thanks
Mike

Thought that all the 3.2 exhausts were two in ... and either one or two out ???? Anyway, the 'LPMM', as you know, is an open bypass shorting the inlet directly to the outlet.
With two in and one pipe out, it would be unrealistic to use bypasses of equal length. There is precious little working room on the inlets, but perhaps it would be workable on a 2 in: 2 out configuration.
Got a pic of a single in 3.2 muffler? - I can't visualize the connection to the heatexchangers/cats ...

The Corvette Z06 guys often do this mod (although I don't think they call it the LPMM...LOL). 993 folks have to find someone to weld stainless, but they have to find someone who can weld titanium since the stock Z06 exhaust is Ti.

Stock 3.2 mufflers are 1in/1out, but you are correct, there is precious little room to work with between the in/out pipes.

So they are! I stand corrected ..... it does appear that a talented welder could tack in a sweeping bend to create a bypass: take a look on the 996 board for such additions to the 3.4 mufflers.
I would be tempted to start with 1" pipe for a variety of reasons - but it does look feasible.
