I think I like them too-kind of like our cars-new update on an old concept. Need to get more info-

Price list is up...

http://www.weinkath-carwheels.de/fil...7-19_12.07.pdf

8x17 = 560E
10x17 = 600E

Pretty pricey, but I guess in the same range as other forged 3-piece wheels out there....

Maybe without all the screws...I think they may be on to something.

They look pretty good on the right car but would, IMHO, look better without the split rims. There is a listing on Pelican about large Fuchs replicas that looked really good. Do a search - they should show up.

Cheers,

David

Don't bother--nothing for our offsets yet.

not a big fan either on the 993, just my opinion. too much of a generation gap between body styles. thanks for sharing regardless. different strokes for different folks.

If you want 17" Fuchs you could search on Lindseys who do some great wheels based upon Fuchs centres.

I am not sure I would buy them....just pointing out an option that is out there that is new and that people in the US might not be aware of. For me, I think I'd find out if different bolts could be used, something a little more low profile. Lots of folks do have three-piece wheels, and they all have the bolts, so I expect that there are different options on what bolts could be used with different heads.

If you were a guy who put a duck tail on a 993, and sorta wanted a more "old school" look, I bet these would be a really good choice. Or, imagine the centers done in a different way, may car-color or polished/painted like some of the Fuchs are done....

I'd like to go to a 17x8 and 17x10, and it seems about the only way I can do that is with three-piece wheels....
