I'm wondering whether any of you helpful people here have a suggestion for a reputable and technically strong Porsche shop in Orange County CA. The owner of the car I hope to buy gave me the name of Stuttgart Performance. Any of you have experience with them, or if not other suggestions?

I have heard good things about Stuttgart....go to www.porscheownersclub.org and the Express Menu. There you'll see a listing of shops that do POC Technical Inspections...you note quite a few in Orange County.

I am having a PPI done this Monday at Hergesheimers in Lake Forest. I found them by searching this site. I have no prior experience with them but they sound pretty on the ball based on my phone conversation with "Laura."

You'll be in good hands there. Hergesheimers does lots of PPIs, very thorough too.
