I vote for route #1, too. One of my goals in life is to try all of the "great" BBQ joints in Texas.

I'll be there in my new orange RS...and like Jonathan I'm driving down the night before from Dallas...are we having a get together the night before? who wants to ride shotgun to 6th street with me?

He can go in, ahem... "the friends" car and I'll take the RS back to the hotel

 

nah- I'm like a buddhist monk this time of year gents. plus I have to save all my $ for the car- can't afford to pay for her breakfast in the morning. lol

Shady Grove for a hippie sandwich and queso fries... outside of course... assuming that weather would cooperate? Although, might be a bit too busy/crowded on a Fri night,.
