Default 1995 993 OIL LEAK

First I would like to thank everyone on this site, just reading all of your posts was very helpful. There is a panel on the rear facing driver side of the engine that is leaking oil. I have already replaced the valve cover seals but when I tried to do the same with this I could not get it to come off. After all of the nuts were removed the panel would not come off from the top only the bottom would pry out and I did not want to break it, so I secured it back. I have searched and am unable to find out what or how to take this off any help would be welcomed.

I think a picture would really help so we have a better idea of where you're talking about.

If you are talking about the valve cover bolts, make sure you have ALL of them removed before prying the cover free. Some are difficult to reach...

maybe timing case cover? is it flat and faces the rear of the car? Mine seeps a bit. I have heard it can be done w/o removing the engine but cant be certain so I have left mine for now. I get a drop about once a week or so

That's the timing chain cover. Mine is leaking pretty bad too. I believe it can be fixed with the engine in, but requires removal of several parts. If I remember correctly, my mechanic said it's something like 4+ hours.
