A Sad Day
Well I sold my 993. As I watched the new owner drive it away I felt terrible. I gave my 993 a great life and it gave me a ton of joy. It was sad to see it leave. 993 ownership was a great experience and so was being part of Rennlist. Thanks everyone.

Just because you let go the 993, doesn't mean you can't be on Rennlist!!!
You still have friends, the "I'd Hit It" thread and of course "Gretch !!!
By the way...

Erik,
I am not sure whether to congratulate you on the sale or not, but someone got a very nice cab! Hopefully the new owner will get the chance to drive it more often. Is the buyer local? Hopefully I will see you around. Best of luck.

Thanks guys. The buyer is in Portland, OR. I sold it because I have not had the time to drive it over the last 2 years. The guy who bought it will take good care of it, he is from Germany and is an engineer for Benz.
Jeff- Did you ever get your car back? How does it look?

That's too bad, but hey, you can always but another when you've got more time to play. Sounds as though your beautiful cab went to a good home.

I know what you are saying. Although I haven't sold my 911, I have just sold my "friend" of 14 years - a Honda CRX which was so much more accessible than my RS. It will be a sad day when it leaves the drive.
