Default Arcan Aluminum Jack at Costco in Houston?

I was looking for the Arcan aluminum jack on the costco website but found only a Torin. The Arcan (99 USD) had some decent feedback here and should be enough for my intended infrequent use.

I am living in the Houston area and would like to know if some of the local guys bought or have seen this jack recently @ costco.

Thanks,
Erik

I have 2 from Harbor Freight (290 & Jones Rd ) that are aluminum rapid lift jacks. They run $119 or so but go on sale for $99 every now and then. Excellent jack

I saw the aluminum arcan jack at Summit point last week. The guy paddocked next to me had it and after I saw it, I had to have one. The thing is sweet. The configuration is great for lowered cars, flat pad, and the base doesn't arc up as you go from the pad to the jack handle. I purchased this week from northerntool.com (no affiliation). Hasn't arrived yet for me to comment on the distributor.

I guess I got screwed... I think I paid $160 (go figure, I guess I should have posted first). I pulled the trigger after comparing a few sites. But no resource matches up to the power of rennlist.

I prefer the lightweight aluminum craftsman jack. Its just a little north of 100 dollars.

I had one of those and the seal failed. This is a well-documented problem - so be careful.

I replaced it with the costco jack - it's made 100X better.

You're one of the few people on Rennlist who like it. Mine started losing pressure after a year.

I, too, have a $100 Costco jack. It's not as light as the Horrible Fright jack, but it's held up much better.

My first one was perfect out of the box. The second required bleeding of some air out of the bleed screw. I suspect this is something that could occur on most jacks?
