Hey "friend" - there is a '97 993, pale yellow - ready to track for sale. I know the car (my friends) and it's on the Rennlist classifieds (posted 11/3 as I recall). He's FLEXIBLE about where the PPI is done - ad may state differently. As far as I know it's a very clean car and may be what you're looking for.

David Ray is selling his car.... very well set up but high miles (150,000). PPI yesterday apparently without compression issues. Price on Pelican was just reduced to $26,000... I'm sure he'll chime in soon. The car is killer and a real looker, but the mileage turned me away.

Thanks, Peter. I'm sure Skip, er, my other friend will see this thread.

Thanks, Glen. The GT2 wing would have to come off (due to the leading edge aerofoil). I still think a clutch-type LSD is the way to go for track driving since it's better set up for trail-braking. The Quaife will almost never wear out but is geared more towards autocrossing.

He definitely wants to steer clear of any AWD cars, so no C4S' or C4's.

Any leads? Anyone here contemplating selling their track car?

Thanks for any help.
you might have already seen this
but look at Avidtests 1995 RSCS "clone"

Cool I know where one is...

Check the Porsche Owners Club web site...this one is ready to rock. It is a 993 Carrera S for about $50,000...supposedly $100,000 in the car.

Thanks, Martin! Here's the link to the ad Martin posted: http://www.porscheownersclub.org/Cla...howad&AdID=686

Seems overpriced for a track car with 67,000 miles on it, no Motons or JRZ's, a non-custom cage, no ERP bearings and an interesting spoiler and wing combo. This must be same car that Kevin/Topless in Temecula posted earlier.

Jeez, Mark, I agree. My car was only $40k.
Can I sell it for $100k?

LOL. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe my car is worth $65,000 since it's totally set-up and has won some races. Of course, that bumps you up to the lower end of 964 cup territory.
