The horror, the shame!

Any takers on this beauty?

Yuck.
He's turned, what was once a nice apple-shaped rump, into nothing but a lard ***.

Next time he should lay off the twinkies.

Apart from simply being a bastardized older 911, I don't think it looks any wider than a turbo. Certainly not 4" more per side.

I'll be the first dissenting voice and say that the car looks pretty effin' cool, the V8 mill notwithstanding.

I second that it certainly doesn't look bad! But...look at the lower right pic -- I agree it is not (much) wider, if at all.

Chevy engine....hmmm - wonder if he squeezed it in the front trunck too

If this car were at the track (and if it had a proper P-car motor), we'd all be slipping in our drool.

I have a feeling that if this car could get around the track quickly, we'd be drooling no matter what was in it.

A 915 with a V8. I doubt it would make it around a track very many times without breaking.

I'd never buy a Frankencar but I agree that it's a cool looking, GT2esque car. I'm in the process of doing some serious body mods to my C4S...RS roof, full cage and color change to Audi RS blue. I was thinking about putting RUF bumpers and GT2 fenders making it "extra wide" and the main reason I won't be doing it is because it'd bump me up a class in PCA.

Decency? If the '71 that was used was wrecked or rusted then let the creative
juices flow. If that was a solid rust free car that could have been restored to
original or an "R" Gruppe car then another piece of Porsche
history has been erased forever and that's far from decent.

When I first saw the photos it appeared to me not unlike a 993 turbo? Wonder if the V8 comes into the back seat area? Gotta' watch those rear wheels though - easy to drag one on a curb.
