I decided to go back to stock and keep my 993 as original as possible. Therefore I am putting for sale the Audio system that came with my 993 6 months ago. The system was installed by Lombards Autosound in San Luis Obispo, CA back in Aug. 2003 and is a Hi End 400W gear. Description:
-1 Eclipse 4/3/2 Channell Power Amplifier PA5422
-1 Eclipse 2/1 Channel Power Amplifier PA4212
Both Amps were installed in the front trunk with a special molding (see picture)
- 2 JL Audio Sub-Woofers 100 Watts each in a fiber glass enclosure especially molded to fit the floor of the back seats and finished with black carpeting to match the car black carpeting interior. The finishing is really perfect for black inteirors but it does take all of the leg-room in the back seats.(see picture right behind the driver's seat belt and you will see it installed)
- The Head Unit Eclipse CD8053 works fine but the CD player is not working.
I'm more of a Porsche purist and I don't need that stuff to replace the 993 MotorSound Track. The whole gear (4 pieces) is about 40 lbs and connectors are included. Let me know if anyone has any interest and feel free to PR me.
Thanks
Luciano

The is a wood board installed underneath the carpeting, where the amps are tightened by screws.
The frame around the amps (courtesy detail of our Rennlist member Andreas above...) gives the final finish.
