10,000 miles. No more, no less.

I can't figure out how I managed to put on 30,000 miles myself. I have had two cars for all but 9 months of ownership and my commute has never exceeded 3.5 miles.

I guess it's whenever we take any road trip, I can't stomach the thought of spending it in the SUV when I have the 911 as the alternative.

Maybe that is it.

No commute, my son takes the bus to school now, food is delivered by Peapod mostly. When we travel, we fly and take a limo to the airport. I can bike to the beach or to my parent's house and I can walk to CVS, Dunken Donuts/food store.

Damn, if it wasn't for beer runs I might not even need a car.

It's funny you mention this. There is this awesome liquor store that specializes in craft brews and obscure abbey ales on the Maryland state line and I've managed to find some interesting routes through the windy back roads of Pennsylvania to stop there for a 6 pack. 50 mile round trips for a quiet Saturday evening's drink.

My car has 157k on it. It's been exactly a year since I purchased it and I've only put 3k on it. I try to drive it at least twice a week. Damn those previous owners - they really had fun!

50K on mine, I've owned it for 4 years and put 22K on it in that time. It's not my daily drive. I've got the BeastMW for that. Seems like 5k a year is pretty typical around this part of the country for a 993. Most of the ones I know of are 2nd or 3rd cars.

25K on mine. The reason it's low mileage is it sat in the airport a lot when i used it as a street car. And now it's a track car.

Reminded me of Boston-area liquor store. I have the hat:
