Private Sale Wanted in St. Louis area.
993 Coupe any color other than White, Black, and Red (No Offense) from a private seller inthe low 30s anywhere around St. Louis that can complete the sale by this Friday. Would rather buy from a lister or friend there of and since I don't know the area, (from Philadelphia) I don't want to buy from a dealer.
Will be driving back to Philadelphia Friday afternoon with the new car, or I will be flying back without it. I am in a town called Cape Giraldaux sp? and can write a check for the car.
I am more up on 996 pricing so I apologize if the $ is off. Just let me know.

I guess I don't understand the concept here. You don't seem to care much about specifics other than the sale is completed by tomorrow???
Trying to unload some laundered money????

Not to sure you will get any takers..."you can write a check". If I were selling to you, I would ship the car to you after the check clears. I'm afraid that 's what you will hear from most all around here.

Here you go, bud. Black, but ready for immediate delivery. I hear these guys are a pain to deal with, but you asked; the 'List has spoken:

But what's the magic in St. Louis? You just want to experience the drive back? There are plenty of cars in Philly, and this season is a buyer's market. See the post with a Lister's red (sorry) '95 coupe with 71K which "we" have priced around $30. Failing that, Holt Motorsports always has nice 993s in your area as well.

I am a Nigerian King and refuse to answer such stupid questions. If you would like I could free up even more money if you were willing to pay the transfer tax of only $50,000 to get $750,000.
Sorry for the confusion:
I was planning on a certified check not personal, so there will be no finger crossing. A wire transfer would also work, I was only implying that there would not be financing issue with the "i can write a check" comment. I would never expect any good faith from a total stranger to me.
I am more interested in speed of sale rather than getting my perfect color choice or option list due to a combination of several complicated yet utterly boring factors that I can discuss in the OT forum. I was hoping that my impulse buy offer may spark an impulse sale offer and get me into a 993.

Holt is a nice enough guy but a little overpriced. I really just want to pull the trigger here and enjoy the drive back. If it doesn't happen I can find the car in Philly, but when I am home I find too many reasons to not buy.
