Default Glue to reattach driver's side mirror?

My driver's side mirror came loose today. What is the proper adhesive to use to reattach it?

Thanks!

You mean the mirror itself off the holding bracket?? If so - I used a 3M adhesive (I can look at the part # - as I think I still have the old tube?) If you mean the whole mirror assy - as attached to the door panel - nope - no adhesive!!!

Best to ya'

Wow John! I feel honored that you replied to my question! Just the mirror itself came loose from the holding bracket. The mirror assembly is not loose.

Thank you!

Huh?

I'm "just me" - that's all there is, was - or will ever be...!! I love my P'cars!! (Well, Jen's 964 might be a bit daunting when I pull/rebuild the engine - but - I'll save that when I get that engine out and on the floor...

OK - are you set - or do you want me to try to find the tube of 3M that I used???

Best to ya'!

Thanks John! If you have that tube handy I would like the part number or description.

For the MOUNT itself, there's a little black cap that covers a small metric allen bolt that can be tightened a little to firm up the mount itself. Use a pocket knife blade tip to pop out the black cap and be very careful you do it over a garage floor since you will never find it if it lands in the grass!!!!
