OT: Thinking of pulling the trigger on a 335i Sedan
Anyone out there have a 335i (Sedan)? I'm selling my G35 (Sedan) DD and the 335i is my first choice as a replacement. I only have limited exposure (est drive, articles, etc.) on it and thus far.. I Love It!
I know its a BMW

I love my TT, but I drive an M5 every day and there is no need to apologize for thinking about a Bimmer. I think the new 335i is one bad *** ride. I think the convertible is awesome as well.
I would personally go for it, as I have been satisfied with every Bimmer (5) and Porsche (3) I have ever owned. Pretty darn reliable in the long run from both fronts. Believe it or not, it seems as if the most questionable German marque for reliability is actually Mercedes with all of their recent electronic nightmares.

Yep- the 135 is a bad *** ride...but from your avatar it appears you may need more room!
I've owned three BMWs and my wife is on her second. I can't say enough good things about them..the perfect counterpart for my 911.
I second Robert's observation about Benzs. My dad has a 97 E420 and I drive a 98 540i. My car is perfect with everything working as it should despite having nearly 120K on the clock. My dad's car, on the other hand, has only 70k miles and has a million things wrong with it.

3400+ lbs of "light"? I'm still thinking of eurodelivering one if/when I get the convertible itch out of my system. (Yes, I know there will be a 1 series convertible.......someday.)

Well, notice I said "lighter", not light! BMW's these days are all about technological gizmos and gadgets and luxury features that make them porkers. They're fine cars, but it's a shame they couldn't bring in the 135i under 3000 lbs.

This would be a Company Car so 4 Door is required. + we need room for the rug rats. I'm happy to hear your positive comments. Anyone wanna buy a G35????

Chris,
C'mon mate. I don't want to have at it out with the Audi guys, again, but really man if the A3 and 135i are financially close it is absolutely no contest! You can even have fun on the track with a 135i. As its a daily - I wish they would bring the 123 diesel to the US, it is getting rave reviews in Europe.
4-cylinder twin turbo
M-sport suspension
6-spd tranny
rear wheel drive (not "quattro")
0-60 in 7
top speed - 148mph
and all that with 54mpg!
Yeah Audi will "copy" this recipe and get it right in about 3 years.

Go for the 335. The 07 bugs have been worked out (eg oiler cooler, etc.). I had a the last three generations of 3 series and my 06 330 was incredible driving experience. A bit of fit / finish problems but will probably get another one. I hate to say this but if you go for sport package, the combination of 19 inch rims and run flats, make a rough ride.
