Default Texas Hill Country Drive

Okay, based on the thread linked below, there is some interest in organizing a Texas Hill Country Drive:
https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...74#post4729674

I've organized drives in the Hill Country before, and know lots of other folks that regularly drive it. Wanna tour? I'll organize it!!

Lots of options here: We can do a day drive or a weekend drive; Leakey area would be ideal, but it takes some time to get out there; might warrant an overnight trip. We can limit it to a day or make it longer, depending on interest.

I've included a poll, and you can vote on more than one option.

So, let's talk!! Input please on:
1. What days/dates work best (if you have specifics in addition to the poll)
2. How long (one day, multi-day, time/mileage)
3. If overnight, indicate if you need a hotel (So I can tally for a group rate discount somewhere)

Adrienne

We might want to think about posting this on other forums. Say 993 turbo, 964 etc. What do you think?

If it is in December or January I'm in. Closing on a house and getting my stuff down from Maine in November-not to mention the 4 tires stored with the house stuff that have to go on to pass inspection since the rears are on the wear marks and didn't pass inspection to register in TX.

Watch this guy, he is hell on wheels.

Hello Al! I hope we can both go to this drive. I would enjoy catching up.

I am in!

January is the best option for me.

A three to six hour single day trip is my preference, but I would join a portion of a two day trip.

Thanks for putting this together.

Count me in, too! If it's late enough, maybe I'll have my suspension done for the drive.
