A GB thru Ultimate Pedals was allowed and successful in the past. I read NO complaints....meanwhile a GB from maxspeed was allowed and things did go wrong. That too was allowed! I see people posting ads for thier freinds who are not members....those are allowed also.

I try to save the community a few bucks from a reputable supplier ( which I have absolutely no relation to), and I get this.......I am appauled and insulted. I will not be renewing my membership if this is the way things continue to be run. I will post and read posts for free.

Why is this group buy removed? Perhaps RL is biased or had a personal bad experience...who knows....

perhaps the moderator can find me the exact same pedals, same options, same design, same composition, same service for the same price...... from a sponsor for the same price offered by ultimate pedals.

They will probably want remove this thread too, but it is my right to state my opinion in an open forum.

MaxSpeed is not a sponsor here either... actually, there are often GBs with non-sponsor suppliers.

Don't get your knickers in a twist. You were trying to help, but it's not always clear to the admins since there are people who exploit the site in this way. That's why the rules are there.

eh, it all doesn't seem worth getting in a state of high dudgeon to me... maybe Randy misinterpreted the Charter, maybe you did, whatever... it's all small beer.

As you can see, Maxspeed is not one of them either.

There are reasons why GBs for non-Sponsors is prohibited - Rennlist has no recourse to protect its Members in the event the GB goes sour, and the non-Sponsor GB often is of an item offered by a paying Sponsor.

Please read the Charter item I had previously supplied - it explains it all pretty well.

something strange is afoot at the Circle-K...

if this is going to be strictly enforced (hasn't been in the past) or is a new item (I don't read the charter on a regular basis) then this could really rain on many a GB parade.
There have been numerous GBs in the past with non-sponsoring vendors. Maybe we just got lucky and slid it past folks? I kinda doubt it.

Umm...never knew...do you know how many of these are posted here every week? and none get deleted?

I think the only one that I can recall is the one by "Royalty" and his "rare" turbo wing that he was trying to sell. And that one wasn't deleted, he just got his royal *** kicked out.

Thanks for posting it. I just didn't know about this particular ebay rule. It seems that gets ignored more often than none.

Same goes for the Group Buy. I see them going on all the time for non sponsored vendors. Maxspeeds pedals and armateur gauge rings come to mind.
