Thumbs down CA DMV

After waiting for 10 weeks for my special plate "993PCAR" I received a letter from the DMV refusing to grant me the plate per California Vehicle Code 5105(a).
California Vehicle Code 5105(a), states, we must refuse any license plate configuration which carries connotations offensive to good taste ans decency, or which maybe misleading to our citizens.
I even spelled it out for them but I guess no body read it.

you are looking for logic at the CA DMV? They are all out

Sorry for you fixedgame... really frustrating bureaucracy to deal with. Looks like others know how... hopefully you will be able to get to a human with a brain if you try. Good luck!

Mislead citizens?? What, did they think you were going to put it on a 996?

Now, I have a preeeeeetty filthy mind, but I'm having trouble figuring out what's obscene about 993PCAR.

Furthermore, while we're all making our way through the work day, consider there is someone actually sitting in an office in your state or provincial capital whose job it is to decide if a vanity plate is obscene. All day long, "vageater1, nope. T-BAG69, no chance. MILFHunter1975...c'mon, that won't even fit on a license plate!"

Well... my 4YO son would probably get some laughs out of the P-car part. Everything with "P" in it is hilarious at this point.
Hey... maybe we are onto something here. Does the DMV hire 4YO kids to do this job? Or maybe... just maybe... this is the maturity level of the person who deicdes what is offensive or misleading? hmmm...
Since we have child labor laws that would prevent the hiring of a 4YO I am going to go with "B" as my final answer

The beauty is my tax dollars will someday pay for this person's pension.

Geez, I wonder how they would handle "FCAR" variations, then?
