So is the 993 And the MY02 wheels are so, um... "996."

Actually they look good on 993s, but they don't look 100% correct. The twists on the other hand, they look 100% correct. This of course is all subjective.

Agreed,
I like both wheels, but the designers got it right the first time around. I think twists look odd (not that there's anything wrong with that!) on a 964, so following that logic...

What about 997 Carrera IIIs ?

The spokes seem to have more "square" shoulders compared to the softer, rounder spokes on the MY02s (Carrera II, right?).

CIIIs look a bit heavier, but still probably lighter than solid spoke twists.
