Default Match driving light/foglights to HID?

I've seen some threads in my search but haven't gotten a definitive answer ... can anyone recommend a specific bulb that will better match the bright white of a 4300 HID bulb? I'd like to replace the driving lights, fog lights and, possibly, the bright H1 bulbs.

TIA

I replaced mine with LED light bulbs. The color matches much better, though light output is not very strong, but now my turn signals look terrible by comparison.

Definitely, go with LEDs for the side lights. I fitted some Phillips Blue Vision bulbs to the main beam and these provide a good match for the HID dipped beams. Can't help with the fog lights but I guess there is a Phillips Blue Vision equivalent for this also.

A word of caution to those with factory Turbo S air ducts.... The white (slightly blue) festune LED bulbs, that have 6 LEDs on a PCB will blink if slightly damaged..... the police don't like it..... ask me how I know!!! They do look good, but just keep an eye on them.

No affiliation, etc etc but aceparts.com has developed a front led specifically for the 993 that is meant to match the HID better - the owner is a 993 driver and used his own car as a test-bed.

No got any as yet, but seem to be reasonable from some of the responses on 911uk.

Pretty sure he would ship to the US.

I have bought off Alan from Ace Parts before, he's a nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. His products are good. No affiliation, etc.

http://www.aceparts.com/all-led-bulb...sidelights.htm

The pic on that page makes them look really ricey, though. I want white, not icy-blue Honda Civic look.

A previous post referring to those particular lights also noted that they are not plug and play, and required reversing the connector ... true?

No, these will work in our cars. Make sure you get the version for US cars. Alan is a good guy. The first time he sent the wrong version by accident. He corrected the mistake very quickly and sent out a new, correct set ASAP. The look is a little white/blue but looks much better than dull white/yellow of OEM IMO.

How's the brightness and the overall effect? Not too over the top?

http://www.aceparts.com/upgrade-bulbs/h3/

These seem like they are for the FOGS.....H3, There is a 55W and a 100W.....
which ones will best match the 4300K HIDs?

Then there is the front driving lights, next to the fogs......

Also, I heard the LEDs look good on the license plate.....a friend saw it on a new lexus!

I have the same foglights as in David in LA's avatar. I think the bulbs are something like 9005 or some weird model/size number. Any chance these LED's will just plug into the their harnesses?
