Remote Key less Entry Help Plz
Hi Guys,
Lately, i got to try out the DIY for the Key Less entry remote installation. As per the threads on the forum i have got things to work somehow in a funny way.
I have used the Gr/white and Bl/white wires for lock and unlock. The unit has 9 pins of which three are power, ground and a wire for the parking lights. I left two cut, two grounded and a green and a blue wire attached to the unit Gr/white and Bl/white respectively.
Once i use the remote the car locks without activating the alarm lights on the doors but never unlocks.
If i reverse the wires ie Green to blue/white and bl/wht to blue it unlocks but never locks.
Any ideas to why this is happening? can i activate the alarm when the door is locked?
ps. i have the ending with .02 device
thanks

It's been a long time since I did this, but looking back at my notes, I left five wires from my 10 wire remote unattached. I only attached the polarity input (to ground), 12v, ground, door lock, and door unlock. I don't know anything about electricity, and just followed the write-ups, but you might check to find out whether you have a polarity input and whether it is attached to ground (along with the ground wire).
