993S insight
Anyone know anything about this 1998 993 S?

I know, and I have read as much about Victory as I can; however, I live close to Houston and can have it checked out thoroughly. I have been to his place 5 times over the last few months checking his stock.
Thanks for any insight.

If you can do your due diligence on this car (it looks like a nice one that's been tweaked a bit by its former owner(s)), and it checks out, then go for it. Victory's been bashed a billion times already, but if you take the car at face value (discounting any promises whispered into your ear by the salesman) and buy it at a fair price, then the source of the car is made less relevant. Good luck.
I think he might be refering to Mike Callas at Rennsport in Sealy.
With Victory, you'll be buying the car, not the dealer. Hand-picking a vehicle from them along with a proper PPI might yield a good vehicle. Remember that you're unlikely to get service/history records, which is something you'd expect to get for the premium prices that Victory charges.
Knowing Victory, they're probably wanting high 50's?
BTW- Check Craig's List. There's a dealer around Austin that's looking to unload some of his inventory. Not sure if there are any good deals, but worth looking into.
Also, after you buy, be sure to join RL!!
