Suspended license
Anyone ever successfully overturn a negligent driver suspension at a DMV hearing (in my case 4 speeding tickets within 12 months)?
If so what worked? Cali DMV wants me off the roads for 6 months (none of the 4 tix was egregious, maybe 10-15 over).
thanks

As a lawyer, it will be well worth your dime (especially if you can afford 4 speeding tickets in a year) to hire a traffic attorney. The simple fact of being represented will give you a good chance of pleading down the charges to probation of some sort. As long as all the tickets were under 20 mph over to avoid any reckless driving charges you should be able to get off with 1 year probation stipulating that you will not get any more tickets for 1 year; however, if you do get another ticket you might as well give the officer you license on the spot to get the suspension over with sooner!
Good Luck,
Adam
P.S. The above is not legal advice nor should it be construed in any such manner...blah...blah...

I hate to say it but with 4 speeding tickets in 12 months don't you think you need a little recourse????
6 months suspension seems a bit harsh though.

Bummer, either you are very unlucky or you don't pay attention to your surroundings. In any case open your wallet real wide and hire the best traffic attorney you can afford.
If you got pinched by radar more than once, then you really need a Valentine One. I put over 30k in my daily driver and my two other cars and I have yet to get a speeding ticket.
Luck plays into it, but using that rear view mirror and a V-1 lessens your chances of getting caught.
If this situation doen't lighten your foot then the Valentine One is the best insurance out there to
keep the flashing red lights out of your rear view mirror.
