Hey Mike. I'm glad to hear that you made it out "okay". All the good lines about cars being replaceable and people not have been used up. Suffice to say that I hope you are indeed okay. Looks like the next project may be a little bigger than expected.
Ouch! That definitely won't buff out, but better the car than you. Cars can be replaced and seeing what you can do to cars, i'm sure your next one will be even better!
Looks like you get the lucky dog award for surviving this one.........thank the maker for that...............as a pilot, I have studied lots of aviation accidents to learn what went wrong so I can avoid making the same mistakes.
I know you don't want to rehash this accident, but I think it would be very helpful for you to give a "Cliff Note" version so all of us might learn something valuable from your unfortunate incident.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery..................ZP44
Mike: Just checked in on the forum and saw this. My first thought was that it is great you are OK. You have always been so supportive of folks on this forum it is really nice to see the response to your accident. Must say, my second thought wasn't of the car, but of the hours you spent creating it. Again, sure glad you are OK.
I'm with ZP44...this is still too fresh, but perhaps at some future point, you can share something about this that will help all of us keep the shiny-side up....really glad you're OK
I am glad to hear that you came out of this as well as you did. Thanks for posting about this and also adding the pictures, it is a great reality check. I hope you get well soon!
