Awesome ebay experience from armaturenringe-de!!!

Hey guys - I ordered a set of gage rings thru Ebay and I received outstanding service from armaturenringe-de. We initially had a problem that resulted in a tardy delivery, but Holger was able to sleuth the issue to a post office problem. His service and followup is impeccable and I recommend him very highly for all R-lister's in the furture (no affiliation). The rings were actually deliverd while I was standing in the driveway with several R-listers today:jumper:
(That was one of the 'good' things that happened today...more to follow)

Here is the feedback I left on Ebay verbatim:
"Terrific ebayer - thanks a million!!! A+A+A++A+"

And he left this (don't know what it says, but...)
Excellente Abwicklung, 1A eBayer, www.armaturenringe.de sagt Dankeschön !!!

I am an ecstatically happy camper::burnout: Thanks Holger!

IIRC, this is the supplier who did an excellent job on our previous group buy.
Quality was excellent: I suspect that production is a one man show, so maybe slow to fill orders at times ...

A bunch of us did a group buy on these from the same vendor a while back and were very satisfied with the guage rings and the service. If I'm not mistaken, Gert get the rings from the same source.

I also purchased a set from the same seller that did not show up.

When I contacted them, they sent another set to me at no extra charge...the second set showed up within 10 days and then 2 days later I received the first set.

I contacted the seller about returning them and he told me to keep them.

Have you contacted the seller?

just recently purchased a set from them. I had no issues or whatever and the rings were great.

Marlon,

Have you contact him and ask about your order? If so... did you get a response?

Yes - I was very courteous and asked if they had been sent, etc. Here's what he said:

But then nothing after that. That was 2 weeks ago. I filed a claim thru Paypal, but I am not expecting any miracles. Kind of strange.

I bought mine from him and got them in a week. Great rings and no problem with this seller.

Never had a bad experience on Ebay. Bought my 95 C4, Bronco, and about 142 other items from tequlia to persian rugs---never a hiccup.

OK Marlon, your post annoyed me...here is why:

The seller sent you a shipment date and a tracking number. You can go to the German Post office web site ( which to help you has an English version would you believe!) and you enter your tracking number and date of shipment. I did this for you......You get the following information.

" RV618979045DE:
The mail item was handed over to the International Mail Centre Frankfurt (office of exchange in the country of origin) on 11.09.2007 to be sent to the recipient in United States.

For further inquiries/information, please contact our Mail International customer service at +49 (0)18 01 / 80 55 55 from Mondays to Fridays between 8 am and 6 pm, Saturdays between 8 am and 2 pm; 3.9 cents per minute when calling from a Deutsche Telekom land line. "

What part of this is A) Too difficult for you to follow and B) in any way the seller's fault. It is not his fault that you live in the USA, it could be the US postal service that lost it.

I suggest you either fall back on the seller to bail you out, which he has little obligation to do, or you take the initiative to help yourself and quit whining until you have followed even the most basic steps.

If you need help to figure out the time in Frankfurt or how to dial an international number, maybe someone else here can help, I'm tired.

Good luck, I hope your stuff arrives.

John

I bought mine directly from this guy's website - no problems at all. Chase down the postal service they're the bad guys here.

It'll be worth the effort - they look great installed!
