Independent Porsche Service in L.A.
....any recommendations would be much appreciated. My '95 coupe has always been serviced at Bev Hills or Rusnak, but those labor rates are killing me. Thanks in advance.

Rule #1: No dealers.
This will keep you busy. Because of where I think you live, most of us would "highlight" Callas and TRE:

Thanks. I guess what I'm looking for is a personal recommendation based on prior experience. If you're saying that TRE is a good shop, then that's very nearby for me and would work well.

I've only been there once, to replace the steering rack on my 1996 C4S, but they did a great job and the place was filled to the brim with older 911's; always a good sign to me. Anyway the place is called 200 N. Motorworks (310)558-3394. John, Dean or Mark. Former Porsche factory boys, IIRC. They are on Robertson Blvd. just south of Beverly Hills near the 10 FWY. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer. You can't go wrong with Callas or TRE either from what I've read. Good luck!
