Gotta 97 993 cab with a closure problem. Today I was closing the top and as usual I caught the top before it hit the windshield top (it drops real fast) and eased it down. Then it wouldn't latch or do anything for that matter. No up, no down, no nothing. It happened several years ago and I managed to get it working again but I donot remember what I did other than I just fiddled with it for a while. perhaps some of you youngsters not prone to senior moments could help me solve this. Thanks for suggestions.

First check your fuse ...#13 if memory serves me right .

I can't help you with the current problem, but it shouldn't come down so fast. The dealer adjusted mine, so it closes nice and sweet.

I checked the fuse -It's ok. When I press the switch I can hear a sound like a solenoid,but no motor sounds.
