Default WTB: kid seats for rear of 993 cabs

Hey all -

Anyone have any used kid seats lying around they'd like to unload? I'd like to pick-up 2 ... like this one that Carnewal has listed, called "Kid Plus":

http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p016.htm

... or something similar. I'm in SoCal, but would pay for shipping if price is right.

Thanks in advance.

Default Child Booster Seats

http://www.albeebaby.com/fiprsavoboca.html

I have 5 yr. old twins and have 2 of these in the back of my 997 coupe. Narrow base fits perfect. I have removed the seat bottom as they are held in with velcro and easily removable in that car.

Good luck in finding something-it is a riot to take the kids cruising with an occasional "roller coaster ride".

I also have 2 of the safe voyage in the back of my 993. I did a little creative cutting to the bases to get them in a bit closer bur they work great..

WOW ... pretty cool ... those look very similar to the ones Carnewal has ... but WAY LESS coin (about $277 to $40 ... hope they're not missing something in quality).

Thanks ... I'll surely consider those if no one has some they wanna get rid of.

Found one on eBay ... does anyone know if this Britax seat will fit in the rear of a 993 cab?

I've been using the Brtitax Parkway Booster in my 95 993 with no issues. The bottom is snug, but fits.

I use two britax parkway boosters as well for my three and five year olds. They love it.

I have the Britax Starriser Comfy and it fits it the back of the cab. This is the "generic" version of the Porsche Zoom seat without the belt clib that disables the airbag. The good thing about this seat is that when the kids get a little bigger, you can take off the back portion and just use the seat. The seat does not fit perfectly but I don't know if any seat does in these cars.

Hey Jim -

I looked for the Starriser ... as that's the one that the guy I bought the black cab told me about ... but I couldn't find it "new" (maybe non-current model??) and could not find one used either. Went with 2 new Britax Parkway models ... exact same kind/color ... I need another fight/argument amongst 6 and 3 1/2 year old brothers like I need another hole in the head.

Scott,

I have one of those Britax seats and if fits fine in the cab. It shifts the child a bit forward so they are pretty close to the front seat. But it is not to bad, 2"-3".

Honestly the pricey Porsche seats fit the best in my cab. But I think it was about $300!!
