I am not generally a fan of red Porsche, but I do think the 993 looks good in red with the RS CS bodykit.
If you must change the colour I would go with one of the 993 CS colours or colour to sample at the time, personally I favour Riviera blue and polar silver on the 993.......I have seen a nice Viper green CS (currently for sale in japan) and a mate here in the UK has a blood orange 993 GT2, which is a dark orange, not far off but subtely different to guards red.
I feel the car is special enough without resorting to some retro scripted colour scheme.
Best of luck with what you finally decide on

Good luck with the race; I'd love to hear what you think of club racing.
I broke 2 teeth on the 3rd gear, and another was cracked. Oddly, these were new gears (transmission was rebuilt with new gears just before I bought it; gears from from the best US source).
I am told that broken gear teeth will happen every 2-3 years; yikes. Its not like I have a modified engine!

If you're sick of red, not sure if going to orange would be a wiser thingy...
Using some of the color psychology rules...
Complmentary color to "RED" is either "Green or Blue" Not orange.
As some of the memebers have suggested to go with "Viper Green" or my all time favorite "Riviera or Mexico Blue" would be highly recommended!
Good luck and hope to see you result soon.
