Nice Mark.

Hope you never have to use it either ... but I bet it will instill some extra confidence.

Ha! You've gone well beyond the slippery slope my friend. More like jumped off the cliff. Very nice work. Hope you never have to use it either. But it looks like he did a great job.

Mark,

The cage lookes awesome. I know it was a big decision for you and I'm sure you are happy with it. Hoping it is just for looks and you never have to use its functionality.

Nice work man! That's what my car wants to be when it grows up.

I do wonder though, why a HWFMR team member would need such equipment...is this just a bling mod?

Very nice indeed! I would love to be able to do that to a car. Some day I will, but for now I can live vicariously through folks like you.

Might I ask what the little T-handle is on the door?

I assume the door opening is done with the black loop in the middle.

Todd,
Since the entire window raising/lowering mechanism was removed, the cage builder used the T-handle pin to retain the window in the 'up' position. For racing, Mark simply pulls the pin, lowers the window, and removes it. Pretty crafty.

Andreas has it right. All of those details are in my lengthy write-up.

You can never put enough time, thought and money into safety.....nice job Mark.

Might I ask as an aside....why did you sell your 997S ? Were you unhappy with it ?

Also, the thicknesses I need are 11mm (0.43307”) and 13mm (0.51181”). I assume you can cut it that precisely?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Sent you a PM -- we have 3.5" as the largest off the shelf.

As I will be making these spacers, I cannot guarantee five places accuracy two or three places, most certainly

You still need the holes offset bored? Which spacer is the larger OD?

Found 4" -- got two slabs parted at lunch time. Need to know which thickness goes with what diameter?
