Default Colorado Ferrari drive?

I saw what appeared to be a Ferrari group drive today (9/15) while in Colorado. I was heading towards the Denver airport (at a rather vigorous clip) somewhere around 10 am when a squadron of at least 12 Ferraris, two Ford GTs and a white 997 GT3 went blasting by in the opposite direction. This was on Highway 70, about midway between Vail & Denver. The first Ford GT was white with blue stripes - what a sight! No time for pics though, as our closing speed was probably in the neighborhood of 180 mph or so......

Were any Rennlisters in attendance?

If they were heading west it sounds like they may have been going to the Colorado Grand. Its a driving event where there are a number of older cars (1960 and later) that are driven across Colorado and wind up in the Vail area. There are usually a number of exotics that can be seen going to the final stop.

There was a Ferrari car show in Palisades this past weekend. It was running concurrently with the wine tasting festival. Yea, I know, wine tasting in Colorado??? There are quite a few vineyards and wineries on the western slope. Anyway they were giving away a ride in a Ferrari to Grand Junction and back. It was probably the best part of the weekend.

This would just be Palisade CO. Just peach orchards and bears, not upidy So Cal. I grew up in the area and it's definitely changing.
