OT - Need advise on MB E-55 ownership
Greetings - am in serious thought about an E-55 - 2004 model with 30K miles. Has Kleemann power kit (520 hp) and LSD. Anything to be cautious of? Any tips? Any opinions? Thanks in advance.

I had a 2003 E55 for about a year. Loved the power, luxury, etc. But the electronics left me stranded twice. One time it broke down in the middle of an intersection while I was crossing. A cop had to push me out of the intersection with his bumper. That was a good day.
So, in all, it is an amazing car. But you have to be patient with it breaking down. Like a Range Rover!
Oh, the second time the suspension failed and the car was slammed to the ground. I was in my underground parking garage. It took 2 hours to get it out and on a flatbed.
Do not own it out of warranty.

the early 211 E class is not known for its reliability.
If you are ok with that, it is one hell of a fast luxury car.
I have a 210 E430 4 matic that I really like.
