oleg, you should have told me! I would have given you the secret Bronco handshake last time we met.
coltj, they won the beer drinking award because of, or despite that, they started admitting women in '65.

No MBA here, but as a 25 year-old software architect I was thrust (gleefully at the time) into a VP Engineering position in a dot-com that actually *survived* the bust (albeit, after 5 CFOs, 4 CEOs, and countless VPs of Sales). So, I like to think of it as a real-world MBA...
Now I run my *own* company with an eye toward profitability, and I don't miss a day of those dot-com headaches.

Likely the only guy out there to have paid for law school (at least what the scholarship didn't cover) by building 911 engines and transaxles. Used student loans for working capital, buying engine cores and such.

MBA/MHA from CU (Colorado) '97
Took 2 companies public. Now a chef with several restaurants. Learned much, invaluable experience.

PS Getting a Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 with 10k kilometers 2001 delivered on Sunday. Will post pics of the new toy when it comes. Stay tuned. Not meaning to steal the thread or anything.

1. an MBA is purely for networking purposes, remember it is who you know and not what you know
2. an MBA will not guarantee a better career, but it never hurts to have one.
Remember, a NYU MBA costs about the same as a 993 tt, so you better make sure you make the most of it. Is your company paying for it?

My turn:
B.S. Indiana Univ.
M.B.A (Finance) Case Western Reserve Univ.
Was working in Cleveland during grad school, and the company paid for it. I left the co. about 6 months after graduating as the advancement opportunities there were scarce. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
My background is in manufacturing finance, consulting and now am in management with an insurance company.
