Hi,
I just bought a nice 97 C4S and I am wondering if anyone has any road tests (R&T, C&D, etc) for this model?
Any other owner tips as well? It has 38K miles on it and super fun to drive.

A Carrera 4S road test I found in 'Porsche 911 Gold Portfolio 1990-1997' Brookland books. Heard about it on RL.
0-60: 5.2
Top speed: 168
curb weight: 3197
That's really all I can find right now. The test didn't publish a full set of numbers (0-100, etc.)

Second: find your favorite wrench in whom you can trust for your mods and maintenance. John Walker in Phinney Ridge, Kevin of UMW on the east side....many others in the Seattle area.
You are also in Seattle.... Would love to meet you and your new C4S. Do you plan to drive when the rain starts in October? Or will your car be another 6-month garage resident until May?

I'm going to post some as soon as we have a sunny day 
and I can take a few.
Yes I'm going to drive it all year long. I just can't see letting it sit unless it has some sort of really rare appeal.
Btw, the C4S is amazing in the rain. I was worried about how the 4 wheel drive would impact handling but you really can't feel it. It just pulls you out of turns and makes power sliding a whole lot more fun.
