Default Lagging Engine Question

I've got a 98 C2S w/ about 33,000 miles on it. Just recently I"ve had this loss of power when I'm in gear. The rpm's will be running at about 4000, then it will lose power and drop to about 3000 but then run back up to 4000 after a second or two. I was told it may be the clutch giving out, but seeing that I have such low miles, I thought I'd get a second opinion and commandier all your suggestions.

If it is a clutch problem, what's the going rate to fix something like that

Thanks in Advance

If your clutch was slipping the rpms would increase and you would lose power ( to the wheels). Sounds like fuel delivery or spark?

Default P-car Lagging

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter to me. Give that a try. Instructions are here:

Unhappy Huuum

I would be careful of the guy that told you it could be a clutch problem.
