Taking the spacers off may move the wheel/tire -in- too far and you'll rub the inner fender wells.

Sounds like a small spacer adjustment is needed -- like 3/16" --

nah, it's not so serious, the other wheel isn't rubbing at all. on another note, i went to two weddings this week at 5 star hotels and the valet put my car right in front both times. they even moved a new range rover to the lot and put only mine and a bently in front. LOVE it. if it doesn't sell (it's on ebay right now) then i'll get the fender professionally adjusted to eliminate the rubbing and do those other things i wanted to do.

I think he is trying to confuse us all.

The rims being oem (ebay heavyweights), the car he was looking at turns out to me his then posts an ebay link to the same car for sale but says it isn't his, but it is...

We are totally down to give info and share our knowledge here, just try to be honest with us.

p.s. car is a European 1997 2 wheel drive "S" w/ 18k miles

p.p.s. i am selling this car

Mark,

I think it was removed, but here's his original thread. I posted the link there but it doesn't work anymore.

actually no, i never posted the link to my auction and i never blatanty advertised the car here. if i was, i wouldn't disclose all of the issues and the ignorance i have about this car so take it easy on me. i came here to share and learn like everyone else, sorry if i am a junior member and just getting into the game. i am not trying to confuse anyone. ask me a coherent and direct questions without hidden agenda and I will gladly asnwer it to the fullest of my knowledge.

everyone has been great but it seems that one member whos name shall remain unknown has been suspicious of me from day one so take it easy buddy. you're just a member, not an owner or a moderator. this site is for everyone to benefit from.

and to the direct question most recently asked, no I have not tracked or raced it....yet.

So are you saying that you did not post a thread in the "Rennlist Recylcler" with a link to your eBay ad?
