I know there is a shop in the East Bay that shaves tires...just dont know the name, anyone know?

Martin, I think Roger Krause Racing does them, same place a lot of us have gone for alignments.

Roger Kraus in San Leandro or AIM up at Sears Point. Both can source, shave and ship to you via UPS.
Martin, you coming up here to race and want it done locally?

On track only tires, less tread squirm and better handling and usually better lap times.

We do it too on tires before they go out if anyone needs it. $15 per tire.

Slightly OT but I had Brandon align/CB my car for the track, and while he was doing that I was watching his Dad Roger hand groove a set of slicks for a vintage formula car. It was amazing to watch him work, they're really good folks there.
