A PCA Dinner Gala on the evening of November 3, 2007 at the Speedway will include several well-known Porsche personalities and be a great opportunity to connect with other PCA members.
Dinner registration will begin on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. PCA members will be able to visit www.pca.org to obtain the dinner registration form to be sent with a check to the PCA National Office.
Dinner registrations will be taken on a first come, first served basis based on postmark date on the envelope, no courier deliveries please. If the dinner is sold out on the first day, Parade oversubscription procedures will apply.

The dinner is already sold out. How could this happen over a month before the event? Sounds like they failed to obtain an adequate venue!

Is it safe to take our cars, I will be staying at Daytona Beach? I would want to take my car up but feel uncomfortable leaving her alone. You know, she sleeps in a well kept area with a night light.

You should be fine, I can't think of an area around here that has a hotel in a bad place really. If you have reservations PM me the hotel name and I'll double check it for you

Not sure what kind of reservations are left or what people are willing to spend for a room but I know the plaza resort is a decent spot. If you find a place you want to stay and want to know if its OK to park your p-car there let me know. I'll ride by and tell you if I'd leave my baby there or not

Been to both 1 and 2. They just keep getting bigger and bigger. Should be a great time to see a lot of our marque's production and competition examples displayed. The first one at LRP was kind of intimate and low-key. The second one here at DIS was more polished and much larger, and this one with the on-track activities as well as corrals and etc should be the best yet.

I see people saying they are purchasing tickets. What do I need to get in to check everything out? Also, someone said something about a track tour in your own car. Any details on that?

The tickets are through the Speedway. $30 a day or $60 for all three. From what I understand even though the site talks about seat numbers it's really just a ticket in the door. Links and info at http://www.rennsport2007.com/
Have not seen anything in writing about the parade laps.
A bunch of us are going down from the Carolinas Region and have rented a house. There was some talk about a get together Friday night so stay tuned.
