Default Gauge Aluminum Bezels...Opinions?

I just installed these. My son loves them. I am on the fence. Atan88 wants my other rings , so let me know what you think, just dont be rude .

To each his own, of course, but since you asked:

I have always felt those rings are a little heavy-handed. I love the rings I got in the group buy a while back; they fit within the bezel instead of completely surrounding it, which provides what I feel is just the right amount of visual punch withough being overwhelming. Just my subjective opinion, of course. Either way, you're driving what appears to be a very clean 993, so how bad can things be, right?

I agree with Dave. I'm much more partial to the "inside bezel" rings that we got as part of the Group Buy.

To be honest, I agree with Jeff and bought some of the slimmer-look "inside-bezel" rings.

Ron - I am on a similar boat. However, I ultimately decided on the inner rings (from Holger). I also agree with Dave and Jeff. The FVD style rings a little overwhelming, almost a "in your face" kind of a thing.

Just my .02/

"Big rings" = big time bling. Keep the "innies"; I have them.

I still can't decide if I like mine! (They are factory, though.)

That's easy. Blutack! They have been in for a few years and no issues and if I ever want to take them out then no glue issues to deal with.

Cheers,

David

I'm really pleased with my "innies" from the group buy. Had a guy who has driven a lot of Porsches say that he had never seen them on a 993 and that they looked great. He laughed when I told him I had installed them myself and that they were stuck on with Blu-tack!
