Thank you all. One more for the road:

Lawyer: Now that your case is settled, I'd like to explain my fees to you. You owe me $500 now and $347.26 a month for the next 36 months.
Client: "I've never heard of such a fee schedule! Why, it sounds like car payments!"
Lawyer: "You're right -- mine."

FWIW: THIS IS A FREE SITE, AND THE MEMBERSHIP IS OPTIONAL (ALTHOUGH ENCOURAGED). IT IS NOT A MEMBERS ONLY SITE.......IF ONE FEELS THAT ANOTHER POSTER SHOULD PAY (EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT HIS BUSINESS) HE SHOULD PM HIM/HER AND NOT ADDRESS IN AN UNRELATED THREAD!

JUST MY $0.02

ps... I wish I studied law....

There are only two membership police on Rennlist, Jenn & John Dunkle. Everyone else should mind their own business and stop harassing people! You are doing more harm than good.

I really liked both of your answers. Thank you.

To celebrate a couple more

"I'm beginning to think that my lawyer is too interested in making money."
"Why do you say that?"
"Listen to this from his bill: 'For waking up at night and thinking about your case: $25'."

A new client had just come in to see a famous lawyer.
"Can you tell me how much you charge?", said the client.
"Of course", the lawyer replied, "I charge $200 to answer three questions!"
"Well that's a bit steep, isn't it?"
"Yes it is", said the lawyer, "And what's your third question?"

That is a really lame excuse for not supporting rennlist......send a money order if you are afraid of CC fraud.

Thanks 993C4Smontreal, that was a really helpful comment, funny thing is, for the life of me I can't seem to recall asking your opinion about anything I write................My advice is, if you feel you must jump in to defend him, your meds may be off a bit, go see your shrink and work it out.

come on now zombie....dont be upset. I was just setting it straight. besides, I'm his lawyer, and if he spends his money foolishly on things like forum fees, I won't be able to charge him for supportng him on this same forum

no hard feelings zombie, but let the moderators do thier thing and lets focus on usefull posts, like our common pcar interests and lawyer jokes.

Tell u what, solve my brake sqeel problem and I will pay his and your RL membership for 2 yrs each.

Ok. Can I enter the contest, too?

- Use your garden hose with a spray nozzle. Hole the nozzle between the wheel spokes and spray out all the brake dust. Roll your car a few inches to get the area under the caliber. Drive for a while, and use the brakes enough to generate some heat to dry everything out.

If that doesn't work use this:

Is the squeak very annoying? I hope so.................Just kidding

If you didn't bed in the last set of pads correctly and glazed them, it may take pulling them and grinding off the shiny spots or replacing them and bedding in a new set correctly.

Good Luck..................ZP44
