Default Am I getting ready to slide the slippery slope...?!?!?

I took off the a/c belt to t/s a belt squeak. I thought the car ran pretty ok to begin with. But now it is breathtaking, literally - simply unbelievable. And smooth as glass. I am considering leaving the belt off - for a while anyway - I need to further assess this sudden performance upgrade . Am I sliding...?

Are you on a snowboard; stunt skies or downhill skies? Makes a big difference!

This is a new record -- three separate threads, all about removing your AC belt. Nicely done! Why not go for a fourth?

Better yet, go for a fifth so the emphasis can be on "odd".

Noah - this is new record for you as well - about 1 post a month out of you normally - now two posts on the 'same' topic. Way to go!!!

I don't know if it's me but I really don't understand this thread. The tittle says "Am I getting ready to slide the slippery slope", with a picture of 993's rear end but all it says is that, he removed the AC belt and likes it.

I always thought that removing the compressor didn't do much in power since it's ball bearing and unless it's engaged, the inertia it creates is close to none.

It doesn't. Unless his AC compressor was engaged 100% of the time.

About the rear end picture, I think is part of his signature.
