Default Las Vegas trip - Hook me up!

Hey guys...

Heading to Sin CIty this week w/ six college buds for a 20-year pseudo reunion. We're staying at the Marriott Grand Chateau and want to do the "Club Scene" on Friday night.

Anybody got some pull for a VIP pass or know where I could get a good deal? I've looked online and it's pretty damn expensive to get treated half-decent. Not looking to go too hard core, just entrance and a table at one of the better spots (Pure, Rain, Ghost Bar, etc.).

TIA...

Call ahead for a table. It will cost you about $200.00 with a 2 bottle minimum. The cost of a bottle is about $300.00 each. This usally includes the $20.00 cover charge and allows you to skip the 3 hour line. In addition everyone expects a tip.

It works out to about $150.00 per person if there are 6 of you. This is cheap for Vegas. Be careful, if your in Vegas and people think your cheap you will get no respect. I would plan on spending about $1500.00 per day per person while in Vegas. This does not include gambling money.

One more reason not to go to Sin City

If you're on a budget, what you're asking for including the venues will be out of your range for sure. If however you and your group are prepared to pay, Johnny King Of Clubs will hook you up with whatever you desire may be http://www.kingofclubslasvegas.com/ You don't even have to call the clubs, he'll take care of everything and trust me, if you're rolling with a gaggle of dudes, it won't matter whether you reserved a table in the VIP at the big clubs or not....you'll be waiting. Spend the $$$, it''ll will be worth it.

thanks for the input... as a point of reference, I was trying to keep the cost at $1k or so which seems doable based on what I've seen/heard.

From my experiences lines / cover is bypassed by letting the door men know your interested in a table, calling ahead also helps. The nicer clubs will charge you a 2 or 3 bottle minimum and your looking at 400/bottle. It's the ONLY way to do the nightlife in vegas.. the bouncers will even bring women to you at your table..

Tao (venetian) and Tryst (Wynn) are some of the nicest of the newer clubs, if your looking for the 'nicest scenery' your best bet is Body English at Hard Rock, it's a gong show there!..

Also, if i can give any advice to ANY man on the planet it would be to hit Rehab on Sunday at the hard rock pool, they turn the pool into an club for the afternoon, DJs, and the nicest talent in the city.. seriously it's ridiculous, it's also an industry party so it's full of exotic dancers and escorts wearing nothing but heels and a thong. get there early and try call ahead for a cabana.

"I would plan on spending about $1500.00 per day per person while in Vegas. This does not include gambling money"

I dont agree with this, 3 bottles is enough for 6 men and plenty of drinks for whoever you meet and invite to drink with you and thats about 250/person including tip. Unless your planning on spending hours at the gentlemen clubs you can get away with 400/day..(and thats hitting it pretty hard) the last time i was in vegas $2000 gave me the single best weekend of my life.. it was fight weekend (busiest weekend in vegas) and we had an 18 man entourage.

If your looking for good food while there check out Prime at Bellagio, the steak is un-beatable. Also Social House at TI has some of the best sushi i've ever eaten and we're spoiled rotten with good sushi here in Vancouver.. another excellent Japanese restaurant is RA which is located at the fashion mall between TI and the Wynn.

Have a great time!

I agree with Rob except the $400.00/day.

$200.00 a night splitting a room with a buddy
$50.00 limo/transportation
$100.00 spliting the cost of a cabana with your pals
$150.00 your poolside bar and food bill
$40.00 pre dinner drinks
$100.00 dinner and drinks
$200.00 nightclub and drinks
$100.00 late night club or strip club
$10.00 In/Out Burger at 4am
Priceless - Seeing your buddy pray to the porcilin god while saying he will never drink again.

Couldn't this money be better spent on mods?

Keep spending the money, Gents! I love seeing MGM and LVS climb regardless of whether Bernanke holds the line or not!

$400 p/d seems way low to me in Vegas, where everything that is fun to do costs a lot of $$$ (unlike the old days).

Prime alone will be $200 p/p if you order wine. (It is well worth it BTW).

Even RFB, it is easy to go through $400/day (excluding gambling).

I suppose so, but I don't need to worry about that since buying the M5... mods just aren't as cool on that car (IMHO).
