I found the Devlac caused me to crunch 3rd gear on the track. Recently went with Redline 75-90 gl5+ and am very, very happy. No problems.

Don't have a lwf, so I can't comment on that. But, in my view, gear clash trumps flywheel noise.

Just my experience. Others have had reported good results with Devlac.

No affiliation though they did send me a Christmas card last December
Seriously. They did.
I purchased my SHC from them as well and have since enjoyed smoother shifting.

The Christmas card was a nice touch as well

Bob, how's the cold shifting with the mineral oil?

My mechanic is leaning towards regular Castrol in the transmission. I'm hesitant but he knows infinetely more about Porsches than I do, obviously.

Cold shifting is fine, although this is not my DD so it does not get driven much in the cold. Also, I have no gear rattle at all with the LWF. I do have RSR's and don't have cats, so the exhaust could be hiding a slight rattle.
