Default License Plate Removal
Hi,

I just unscrewed the front license plate and do not now how the remove the 2 remaining rubbers that hold the license plate frame.

Can someone of you advise?

pic? old style holder (metal) or newer (plastic)? mine was the older version which i just pulled the plastic nibs out w/ needle nose pliers. newer style pop out like legos.

Here is a photo. It looks OEM. Any idea on how to remove?

They should just pull out. Basically, the screw just spreads the two tabs, similar to a plastic wall plug. I decided to take mine off because they were always coming loose - I could pull the frame holder off even with the screws still in there.

If you're really concerned, maybe spray some WD-40 back there.

Yup, these definitely pull out with a good tug/wiggle. The holes in the bumper are actually square, at least on mine (a 993 turbo bumber).

+1 on the Bumper Plugs - a few bucks well spent to take your attention away from the holes, in factory matching paint no less.
