June of '13, wife and I drove from Houston to Bay Area (California) in our 993 C2. Total miles 4357. No problems at all, car is very confortable driving long distances. I was worried driving north to south across Nevada. Got to Las Vegas from Carson City in 113 deg. heat. Car didn't notice the heat although the A/C was not terrific in that heat.

Mass. to Calif.
I picked up my car outside Boston and hauled *** west. First nite in Scranton, PA., continued west to Toledo. Was going to try and use I-80 all the way to San Francisco, but an ice storm from our Canadian friends' came in so I changed plans and headed south the next morning. Louisville at noon and St. Louis that night. Found the sun the next day and perfect weather all the way to CA and in to San Francisco. Perfect trip and the car ran great!
