I'm pullimg all my carpet out and rear seats and installing RS carpet from Appbiz. They offer 3 types

1) Felt

2) Domestic "plush"

3) Silverknit Plush

This is a track car that I will use on the street sometimes. Those who have done this what did you order??

It's actually "sliverknit" that is the oem carpet in a 993. Perlon was the thin lightweight carpet used in early RS(2.7 RS lt wt), not sure what 993RS came w/

So if you want to save a few grams, perlon(felt).

I have Porsche RS carpet set and it is the same as the stock 993 carpet, but without any insulation.
