Default Does anyone have a Fabspeed cup air box for sale?

I may cut away my stock box but wanted to know if anyone is looking to sell theirs.

Thanks! PM me, please.

BTW, it looks like the larger of the two images below.

I herd those were flimsy. Better off cutting yours and or find one on ebay. Good luck with the dremel!!

I had one, but sold it and just drilled my stock one. It was ok, not great.

Mark,
I'd be interested to hear your impressions should you decide to install the Fabspeed lid (or the Dremel one).

I am of the humble opinion that the stock lid flows more than adequately (and helps thwart water damage of the filter). I have the Motorsound lid and while the intake noise is nice, I doubt it adds any real-world grunt.

You may be right, Andreas, but, after talking with TheOtherEric this weekend and hearing of his GPS data logged findings, I decided to try it out. Unlike a dyno-tested car in a room with still air, his car was being used at speed and on the track.

Andreas,
I have the motorsound lid as well, once I did a Swiss cheese with the standard lid to see if would make any difference… top down or top up, the sound was the same as with the motorsound lid…

I had a fabspeed, & it was a POS (IMHO), very flimsy. Every time I took it off I thought it was about to break. I traded it to Adam (remember him) straight up for a stock cover. Then I bought another Stock cover on Ebay ($25) & cut it out like the Fabspeed. Exact same results & a much sturdier cover.

Andreas,
Mark is referring to my GPS data logged tests that I briefly described in this long thread about airbox covers:

I had no complaints about the Fabspeed. IMHO much nicer look than the drilled holes on the stock box.
