Hey all,

Talking with some of the guys at last night's meet, we were thinking of rotating the Bay Area Meet to Fremont for next week. How does Pacific Commons off Auto Mall work for everyone? It has a big parking lot, and lots of local quick eats.

And just a reminder, it would be the usual time, Wednesday at 7pm....

With the M5 guys we always met at that fancy shopping center on Ranch Dr. in Milpitas, near the 880/237 junction. Always tons of empty parking lot over towards the Walmart there, also dozens of restaurants and so on. Anyone know what that shopping center is called?

 

I think you're talking about McCarthy Ranch. We can do that for a future South Bay meet.

As for the Pacific Commons/Fremont Meet, let's meet at the Tapioca Express (next to Lowe's lot I believe?). There should be good lighting, good space, and in the vicinity of "quick eats" if anyone is interested. Let me know if this works.

OK, how's this for a tease to get maximum interest: all you guys (girls?) considering 3.8's, LWF's, gearing changes, Moton's, Recaro's, short shifters, big brakes, how the Sabelt/HANS harnesses work......hell anything that's changed on the car.........I'll bring the yellow car and you're welcome to take it out and wander the local streets to sample how what you want to do measures up in the real world.
