One more thing I wanted to add, that maybe I didn't pitch to everyone last night, is that Thunderhill is trying fill many empty December and January dates at the low, low price of $1K/day. I reserved Dec 6 (Thursday), and will likely just use the date myself with a close group of friends. But if there's interest from the "group" (and that group is defined by me as pretty much anyone who frequents Rennlist and sees this), we can make it into a regular track day. With the addition of corner workers and medical, of course. That's what turns a $1k rental into a $4K event......
No previous experience would necessarily be required, and I'm thinking 20ish cars @ $200/ea would make it work. Obviously, a beginner/restricted passing group and an open passing group would then be necessary. Keep it in mind!
