PIWIS vs Durametric
Can anyone explain for me the advantage of Piwis versus this: http://www.durametric.com/buy.aspx

This isn't really comparing apples to apples, this is comparing a plum to a raisin.
But unless you are shop and can justify the thousands of $ the PWIS costs, the durametric software may be more what you need. The PIWIS system is the newest version of software and technical support provided by the Porsche factory for its' dealerships and well funded independents. It is probably much more than a enthusiastic do it yourselfer would need, but would be very nice. Basic price for PWIS is approx. $17,000 plus a yearly mainteneance fee for access to online data.
