Default 1998 vs 2005

I'm considering a 1998 c4s but it seems the price on these cars is at a premium.
The 1998 wide bodies seem to be around 50.
Searching through auto trader a 2005 997 is only about 10-12,000 more.
That is for a 7 year newer car with a warranty. no sai problems, more power.
I wonder how long this premium will last?

Correction: the 993 is the best air-cooled 911 ever! The 997 is the best water-cooled 911 ever. But you know which 911 is the best of all. The one in your garage. Either way you win. Good luck.

There is a reason - look at the two side by side. May I refer you to this post: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/213459-993-vs-997-pictures_-not-the-first-or-last-comparison.html
